HOW CAN YOU IMPROVE YOUR PUTTING ACCURACY ON SLOPED GREENS?
To improve your putting accuracy on a sloped green, you should strengthen your grip for the left to right putts while weakening your grip for the right to left putts.
In this lesson, Legendary PGA Champion Tom Watson shares a great tip for improving your putting accuracy. Here are the tips to help you adjust your grip if you are missing the cup on sloped greens.
TWEAK YOUR GRIP
To improve your putting accuracy, you may need to tweak your grip. First, take your left hand and turn it over to where you can see one or two knuckles. This will keep the clubface from opening and help keep the putt on the line.

WHEN TO STRENGTHEN AND WEAKEN YOUR GRIP
If you find that you are consistently missing a putt to the left, you can take your left hand and go the opposite direction. You can weaken the hand and turn it slightly over to the left which will keep the putt from turning over to the left. If you continue to have problems missing the ball on the low side of the hole, just remember to tweak your grip. Strengthen it for a left to right putt and weaken it for the right to left putt.
